Default Researching...

Hi all,

I am looking into using, although I have only been researching for about 5 or 6 months now. From what I have read, I have found that ingesting pill form is no good. I have read that it tends to be harsher, and the results aren’t as good when compared to injection. What I am struggling with is deciding/finding a type to start out with. Any ideas for just starting out? (Test-e, ect.) Any suggestions or ideas are much appreciated, I am still researching.

thanks guys

Sorry some quick stats - I am 6'1, about 160 lbs, high metabolism makes it difficult for me to gain any solid mass, even though i am in the gym 5 or 6 times a week. I eat like a horse - very healthy, and with that I take protein and a multi-vitamin..
-if that helps at all.

you eat like a horse....well, tell us what you eat. Is it around 4000 to 5000 calories ? How much protein, carbs do you consume in a day ? How long have you been working out ?

I see it all the time--people beating themselves up in the gym and not seeing results. They don't understand that hitting the weights hard is only a small part of growing or even cutting down. I could train the same all year round and get big or get ripped just by eating different and taking different supplements"

I eat 3000-4500 cals, along with 59g of protein (which I more recently started), and a solid multi vitamin daily, I have been seriously lifting for about 19 months now, and I cant seem to build any solid mass. - I have noticed a great improvement in strength, but I am still on the smaller side, something like small but strong muscles. I am a competitive NCAA athlete, doing cardio everyday, along with lifting 5-6 times a week. I am 19 years old (which from what I have been reading seems to borderline on the younger side when it comes to gear) Regardless, I would like some input.

you may eat like a horse, but all that cardio is gonna keep you small. not to mention your overtraining if your lifting 5 or 6 times a week. The problem isnt that you need gear, the problem is that your not doing what you need to be doing to grow.

if you wanna look like a marathon runner, keep doing what your doing. If you wanna get big, drop the cardio down to 2-3 times a week and start squating, deadlifting, benching heavey. 3 day a week full body routine, Starr or Rippetoe 5x5 and you'll be amazed.

In strength? or in endurance? there is a huge difference. Pushing 135x10 on bench, and going up to 135x15 isnt a strength increase, its endurance.

Alright taken into consideration, I will put together a new routine. Thanks, so even with the gear, if your amount of cardio is high - you will stay slim or is it all bout the routine..?

A lot of cardio is catabolic, meaning your body is using itself for energy, therefore making you smaller. You want youe body in a state of anabolism. To do that you need to lift heavy and take in excess calories (in the right proportions).

I hope that is a typo. It takes a conscious effort to consume only 59g a day.

Its simple. Calories in must be greater than calories out. If you do all that cardio you have to eat that much more. Its backwards thinking to cutting. You need to eat to make up for calories burnt during cardio, rather than do the cardio to make up for calories consumed.

If you're getting enough protein, carbs and fat and using a good routine then you will grow.

So gear isn't to be considered yet? Would it benefit if I were to cut down to maybe 3 days of cardio and 3-4 days of intense lifting, combined with a cycle?? If so what would be recommended to aid me for either an 8 or 12 week? I have a few ideas, but what do you guys think would be good to start out on? Also, being that I am 19 years old does this age sort of borderline being too young? My ultimate goal is to gain a solid 20-25 pounds within the next 3 or 4 months..is this a realistic goal???

...sorry for all the questions - I am reading every day to expand my knowledge, just want to see what you all think.

thanks a lot

"I hope that is a typo. It takes a conscious effort to consume only 59g a day. "

What I meant was I am using a supplement which contains 59g of protein alone.
