| I was thinking that, but I wasnt sure. I am new to this, and my dillema is where to get quality supplements, especially when I dont know anyone locally that I can talk to. I know it takes juice to get big like I want, but I have no idea how to pursue aquiring them, none the less which of them to take for my body type. I am 6"0 and 220. I am muscular and fat. My problem is that I am one of those big guys that you would look at and say " damn, if that dude would just work out" but the problem is I work my ass off and make no gains. I have done the extreme low calori, the regual calori routines, and everything esle. I dont mean I try for a week or two, I am not a moron. I usually wait 4-6 weeks before saying what I am doing is inefficiant. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. :17: |

as for making progress... sounds like you might be fighting genetics. if thats the case it'll be a long tough uphill fight to make the progress you want. if you are truely following a strict diet (counting calories/macros) and busting your ass at the gym you should be seeing results. the longer i've been at this the more i see how important diet is in the equation, VERY. since i've started the UD2.0 i've made some nice progress. its not too bad once you get into it. maybe worth a look...

dont get me wrong, I'm not knocking steroids, they work. But they should be a last resort, and from what you've posted your not there yet. There are many other suppliments that will work for you, and carry less of a risk then illegal substances. BCAA's, Citruline, CEE, NHA's, thermo's, EFA's, and thats just for starters. If you feel you must use some kind of steroid I'd suggest starting with something mild like superdrol. (When i say mild I mean its not a full blown injectable AAS). It will yield very solid gains, in a short 4 week cycle, and it can be found on just about any online suppliment store. But I caution, DONT LET SUBSTANCES BECOME A CRUTCH.

| Thanks peeps, this has to be the best site thus far. I dont see alot of the immature behavior here like you do in alot of the other ones. Genetics Couldnt be more on the money. My father is 5'7, had 1 heart attack, and weighs around 220. Mom was extremely obese and had a gastric bypass. My brother is 6'0 and damn near 280 with asthma. About 4 years ago, I went to the dr and my blood pressure was through the roof. I then realized that if I wanted to see my daughter grow up, then I had to make a change and stop using my family histroy as an excuse.Needles to say I did, I dropped from 294 to 220 is less than a year. The problem was I did it the wrong way. I was focused more on the cardio and extreme WEIGHT loss, and not the FAT loss. Final outcome was I dropped the pounds I wanted, but also the muscle. I was on 1000 calorie a day or less diet for the entire time, with one day of splurging with whatever I wanted to eat (Sundays). The problem was I had a traner that did not really look out for my best interest, as if he did he would have corrected this methodology. I have been able to get down to 212, but I seem to be stuck at 220 again. Now, I am not so worried about the pund weight as I am reduvcing fat and gaining muscle tone. I cant seem to get either. I was thinking of following the MHP\Macrobolic diet way of eating starting next week. I have truly come to the conclusion that I have reduced my bodys caloric nitake for so long, that I know need to go back up to a real daily intake of 2,000 or so. This is where I wanted the Macrobolic way to come in, and make all 2k calories a day perfectly proportiate to the 45\35 20 way. Any additional advice would be great. |

Gender: | Bro. I AM you. Tried every diet in the book. But most are really designed for people who have no real intention on working out. There is a book out there called the 3-hour diet. It works wonders. It doesn"t cut much of any food, it just makes you manage when and how much you eat. Every three hours is the magic number. You also want to eat slow and pay attention to the point you're not hungry anymore. Start with the regular servings and practice not finishing everything on your plate. Decrease the quantity of your meals, and increase the quality, ie...good carbs, proteins, fibers, fats etc...Eventually you will get used to eating very small meals. Eat them often though so you're never craving or starving, which only leads to bingeing. IT takes a while to see the results, but you'll be surprised how much all your effort will begin to shine thru. |
