redbull + prohormones
im guessing while on a prohormone cycle things like energy drink AKA red bull would be bad??
why is that?
does it elevate you BP and hurt your liver?
just wondering as im sometime tempted to take one
i know their bad when on creatin cuz the cafeine cancels it out
It's not going to kill you or your liver, but people tend to avoid anything that elevates blood pressure while on cycle. This is the same reasoning why most people don't recommend preworkout stimulants while on a cycle because the prohormones already elevate your blood pressure.
So if you want one go for it, I just wouldn't be slamming them down all the time.
so yeh caffein pretty much cancels out creatine.... but its also easy to have a coffe pis it out and a few hours later take your creatine dose
but dont expect to get much out of it together
i'm pretty sure i read somewhere recently that caffeine doesn't actually dehydrate you. i shall search.
but still...using that logic...anything that makes you sweat cancels out creatine :)

im just basing this of research i did a while back.... i typed in creatine and caffein in google and probably about 20 sites said that it dont mix and you should take them at the same time.....
i dunno man.... wasnt really a big deal to me so i didint really care i just stopped having energy drink when i was dosing creatine

People combining caffeine and creatine is nothing new, pretty common in today's supplement market actually.
Think about all the preworkout supplements that are on the market, almost all of them contain caffeine and creatine. Of course the caffeine is added in there so you can "feel" their product working and in a lot of cases these companies would still put caffeine in there even if it had negative effects on creatine absorption.
I'm not saying your right or wrong on the point of dehydration, just pointing out that its probably not a big issue to worry about.
^^^ Agreed. When you consider the significance level of the dehydration...it's not significant. Yes, you have some extra water retention in the muscles when you take creatine. That's not the only reason for taking creatine. You supplement with creatine so you'll have additional creatine phosphate, so atp regeneration happens more quickly. If you think that a reduction in the amount of water in the muscle due to caffeine consumption negates the effects of creatine supplementation, then you don't know jack about creatine.
