Which steroids
Hey guys, im new on the forum and would like your advice on what steroid to start using. Im 6'0 tall weigh 185 im 20 years old and work out maybe 4 hrs a week(arms and chest). I dont use any supplements at the moment only work out every other day with bench press and dumbells. Im a pretty lean guy(no fat) and would like to gain muscle and look pretty cut up. I would like to get up to 210-215 pounds. I dont know jack squat about steroids but i know i want to be bigger without a ton of effort. Now i dont want to look like a vein poping meat head, i just want to be cut and have a good amount of muscle.
Right now to give you an idea of my strength level i max out on flat bench at 245 pounds and usually work out with 40 pound dumbells(10 reps). So what do you guys think? any help would be appreciated, LMK if you have any questions. |
First of all, I don't think that it would be a good idea to start using steroids at this point. At 20 you could cause some real problems for yourself. Let me ask ya a few questions and see if I can come up with any other alternatives to gain muscle mass quickly.
1- how long have you been lifting? 2- you mentioned working chest and arms, what about your back, legs and shoulders? 3- Do you do a pretty standard routine or are you changing things up? 4- Do you do much cardio? I know a lot of people think cardio is just for burning fat, but it pumps blood through the muscles cleaning them out and helping them to repair and grow faster. Also, it increases vascularity helping you achieve better pumps when lifting. Answer these and I'll see if I can help ya get the gains you want without much effort, and without causing damage to yourself. |
what does your diet look like....because...if it's shit...steroids aren't going to help. and at 20....you're too young.

And why would people think im a cop...lol. if you cant tell by my name im a car guy/street racer and im not particular fond of some cops. anyways, ill be honest ive hit a wall and cant seem to get bigger/stronger without killing myself. i only work my chest and arms B/C the rest of body is pretty much built, its my arms and chest that are small. i eat pretty good, i eat alot of meat and on a pretty high protein diet. I also might add that im a type 1 diabetic, not sure if that has any ill affects to using steroids. sorry if i sound like a dumbass but ive only been working out maybe 1 year total and im not the smartest guy as far as lifting weights, what bad side-effects are we talking about here guys at my age??? thanks for any help

The problem with taking steroids too early are because your body is producing more hormones now than it ever will...you haven't reached your standard yet. Once everything levels off and is where it will maintain for a while, (around 25) you can manipulate it without worrying so much. Also, organs and bone are still growing, if you cause them to accelerate you could run into future health risks with that. As far as being diabetic, that could run you into some issues. Various AAS alter your insulin level if I'm not mistaken and that isn't something you want to screw around with. Because you are 20, you are going to do whatever you want anyway, so when you find something that is available to you, read all you can on it and make sure it won't mess with your insulin, that could suck for you. Also, some risks of messing with levels could include impotence and sterility...So, limp dick and shooting blanks. That is a risk you need to be aware of and willing to deal with. Its not a guaranteed thing, but it does happen to some. My personal recommendation would be to look for Warrior by Element Nutrition, its a legal supplement that has some pretty potent shit in it. I, and people I know, have used it with some wicked strength gains and lean muscle gains.

There is so much wrong with this its not even funny. When you're at the point where you think you're ready to use anabolics you should be considering it because: You already are putting in everything you can and getting minimal returns aka - you have your macro/micro nutrients perfectly balanced for your body - your exercise plan should be custom tailored to you to achieve your goals whether that be strength, size, explosive power...whatever. - you should have a very clear understanding of undertraining, overtraining, fatigue, deloads, volume management, blablablah I don't think you've exhausted any of these things. Weight training is not supposed to "easy". It takes hard work and dedication and getting into anabolics before you're ready and educated is just dumb. No, I don't do anabolics but there is a reason for that. I know I have alot of potential left. I also have not mastered my diet planning and exercise routines etc. I'm learning more everyday and maybe one day I will step into that realm but I know I'm not ready now. IW |

'Scorcher2005' couldnt have put it better here!! gear is not your 'magic pill' us guys who take them have to work even harder as we can recover faster! taking gear means that you have to eat even more and train even harder. You want an easy way to gain mass?? just sit infront of ya TV and eat crap but that will be the wrong kind of mass. If you wana be big - then train hard (all your body) eat untill you start to gain weight (if you think your eating enough now but not even gaining fat - then your not eating enough! period!) and get your rest!
Its the only way to grow - then when you have reached say 230 - 240lbs then your probably at your max naturally so then its time to think about steroids. Dont expect anyone on here to give you all the answers to your questions - we have spend years researching/reading what to take how to take it and also - what to do if things start to go wrong..... you should be reading about all this now to prepare yourself. |
Major misconception. You said I want to get bigger with out much effort. Even if you take steroids you need to put in 100% effort in all categories, diet, training and you have not done that. You need to get this part down first and then you can look into the steroids. By the way, if you do the first part right you will hit your goal anyway.
