Default help me, someone put me on a diet!!$%!

Wow, highschool is a drag when it comes to friends and food. My friends love eating UNHEALTHY, but I really don't. It's so hard to resist sometimes. So I pig out @ tacobell, eat some custard, soda..wow i feel like a true fatass right now. bah, Ok, i can control that, I will, but what about when my parents shop for food. They shop poorly and I see stuff in the cabinets i wish i would never see..cookies, pastries, chips etc..any good mentality tips to resist?? i usually do but now that its summer, its so hard kinda..im falling, someone help me lift my spirits up! thanks..idk god i just need to get on track and be consistent, how do you guys stay consistent all the time?

Envision your goals to promote proper dieting. Perhaps try limiting your cheat meals to one/day then to one/week. Soon it will become a lifestyle, however it takes time.

My parents always forced a proper diet on me and once I became determined in reaching my goals I had zero temptations.

Perhaps suggest a proper diet for your family just to ensure a healthy future for them.

every little bit will help.
depending on your exercise routine your diet will need to vary considerably.
try making one change to your diet a week. this way you will get used to eating healthy.
adding specific items to your parents grocery list should be easy to sell to them
try doing something like this:
week 1: cut out all regular sodas and non 100% juices
week 2: eat a healthy breakfast every day. try oatmeal with splenda or other sugar free sweeteners
week 3: make a healthy lunch and snack for yourself every day. If you are eating at 8:00am 10:00am and at noon, you will not be as hungry for the rest of the day, your metabolism will be working properly, and you will be a lot less likely to binge at dinner.
week 4: add another meal between lunch and dinner

other tips: look up the nutritional information of common places you eat at online. look through the menu and find healthier choices if you go with your friends.

if you work these tips into your diet gradually, you be much better prepared for a body building diet if you gather the will-power it takes to stay on one.

How do I stay consistent?

I see bodybuilding as an investment, I invest both my time and money into this. Hours in the gym...and alot of money on both supplements, excessive amounts of food, gym memberships, etc. When I mess up on my diet, or I slack on training, I see it as losing and I don't think anyone likes to lose.

that is a very interesting way to look at it. I like it. It is so true, slack and pay the consequences.

i have tried lots of diets and plans, but i couldnt stick to any as it needs so much time to prepare ,my ideal thoughts about dieting is to go into a high protein diet, and working out,and eating 6 to 7 meals a day, this is the secret for loosing weight, use peanut butter, almonds, whole grain bread as snacks, plus the ultimate dried fruit apricots,,,the theory is that once you build muscles your body will burn fat even when you are watching tv on the couch, drink 2liters of water a day minimum and avoid food before 3 hours of your bed time. i hope this helps.cheers!
