sorry it can't be done unless you're on roids.

Or if you are extremely over weight and on the Biggest Loser.:WEIGHT~13:

^^^^^^ LOL

from what i have read. there are more people who say you will lose muscle if you are losing fat. although i do feel as though you can do it, its not an easy thing. IMO it is possible if you dont have shit else to do but workout and eat all day long. and even with that it wouldnt be no 1 to 2 month thing. it would be about 6 months to a year.

so for the most part "I" think its possible but its closer to impossible

(i know it sounds stupid.....but you know what i mean)

Like Dave said there's no way you can drop 30lbs in a month without losing muscle. Even with a longer time frame you may still lose some.

I always hate saying something can not be done, someone always comes along and says well here is someone that done it.

Well, I do not feel you can lose more than 2 or 3 pounds per week and not lose muscle. Not only do you run a bigger chance of losing muscle the higher your weekly weight loss is, you run the risk of lowering your metabolism before you reach your goal and then you accelerate the muscle loss.

You need to decide if you want to ... keep muscle or lose fat rapidly.

I have to agree that your goals are unrealistic. It can be done but not necessarily in the time-frame you are looking for. Monsta is more on target with the 6 months to a year. :weights:

It can not be done without losing muscle and even at that it's very unhealty.

A good diet you will lose 1-1/12lbs of fat per week and preserve your muscle. If you are doing it right 10lbs off looks like you lost 20-25 anyway since you saved all the muscle and that is the point. A diet can not be rushed. You didn't gain 30lbs in a month and you won't lose it in a month.

I agree with the other guys. I used to be heavy-the bad kind, and I lost a ton of weight, really fast, but I was WEAK compared to how I am now, or even before I lost the weight. I would stick with the muscle gains, and take a slower course. I may not be anywhere near where I want to be at, but I am getting there, slowly.
