N00b with questions??
Last time I was on this forum i was like 200lbs and now my stats have changes a good bit but I'm still have fat. I'm about 15%BF and Ive diet and i ride my recumbent bike for an hour a day doing 20mph on level 7/10 and thats burning a hella lot of calories *I'm guessing 1500+* and i eat healthy and recently have become pissed/depressed and i still do all the stuff i have been doing but only eat about 1000cals a day and drink about 1gal of water a day.
My question is, is there anything i can buy at a GNC or something being only 15years old any kind of fat loss pill like the shit i see on tv but i think if it worked then everyone would use it. Is there anything i can buy that wont kill me or maim me that would work ( i don't care if I'm shitting my pants all day as long as i loose fat fast) im not really looking to gain streghnt or muscle mass just loose al my fat which in turn would make me a lot better looking since i think i have a respectable amount ofmuscle for my age and all?

So you weighed 200 and you got down to 155? That's good progress and honestly if this is your first weightloss plateau then you're doing well. But you may have given up to early as for as going for the fatburner pill solution. Now there are a lot of proven diets that others here know about but I think it is useful to just be aware of certain things. And it may be somewhat motivating.
One is that weithtloss pretty much always slows down or stops completely for everyone. It is normal. It doesn't mean that there is something wrong with you and you just can't do it. People have a tendency to think that the body's ultimate response to a caloric deficit and cardio is to drop fat...but this is really only the initial response. The ultimate response is for the body to ADAPT and attempt to maintain homeostasis. A few points to keep in mind.
1. It is a mistake not to worry about lean body mass. I guarantee with what you are doing now you are losing lean mass. Result? You burn less calories and metabolism slows. And if you do lose the fat all that "respectable" muscle will have melted away or at least a lot of it will have. At this point you're probably taking in too few calories. You try to maintain to much of a deficit for too long and your metabolism slows more to adapt PLUS your body can't maintain it's lean tissue which compounds to problem. Your body thinks it's starving. It's waiting for things to "get worse" and thus trying to hold on to fat for when things do. Does this make sense?
2. Also, as your body adapts to caloric intake so does it adapt to exercise activity. You don't want to do the same activity and the same level of intensity and at the same frequency forever. You do the same thing for long enough and your body gets better at it. Part of getting better is that it burns less calories doing it. Change up the cardio, maybe try some HIIT or whatever.
3. This is further to the lean muscle thing...muscle burns around 5 times as much energy as fat mass. A good reason to hold it in high esteem if you want to lose fat. Something to think about.
thanks for that info. Its much much easier for me to build up muscle since i basically have a full gym in my basement but super hard to loose actual fat. I look exactall ythe same as when i weighted 45lbs mor ebelieve it or not and everyone i know agrees.
I dont care if i have to start from scrath with muscle i just want to loose all the fat i have or at least enoguht to not look like a fat ass.

No mater how i eat or how many situps i do or upside down situps anything ill do 500 in a row for the past 2 months cant get that gut

Stunt, damn, bro I just realized your 6'1'' and 155 lbs. Then I see your pics. First of all your slim dude. Is that little paunch all you're talking about? I call that the "marathon paunch" cuz it's similar to how a lot of distance runners look emaciated but always carry a little pot belly.
You are not a fatass by any stretch of the imagination. You do need to put on muscle which would help tremendously. You'd have to increase your calories. I can't really imagine how you could look the same at 200.
What can i do tho seriosuly just to lose fat? as in the way of a pill or something to help?

first no pills, at your age you just need good old fashion hard work. You have to remember this stuff doesnt happen over night, it takes time. You need to start making this a life style and set goals for yourself.
Ive never like riding a bike for cardio, try running, i like running cause when your run it keeps your abs tight the hole time. When your sitting on a bike your abs are lose. Try different things
How long have you been dieting, you have to remember that most good diets if done right will take about 12 to 16 weeks to complete.
Why dont you post your diet so we al can see what your eating
I would post up your diet, and then perhaps we can make some changes to either that or your training.Personally I think its time to bulk up not lose fat
like Eric said, you're no where near fat.
Like people are saying post your diet. If your only eating 1000 cals that is way too little. Read the stickys about fat loss. AND stop thinking there is a magical pill. :slap:
If your diet isn't even in order weight loss pills will do nothing.
It seems like the most common goal people have coming on these days is to get their bodyfat down to some ridiculous unhealthy level. Or to do that while gaining a lot of mass, which is unrealistic. So many people seem to think you're supposed to walk around shredded all the time.
I know you go to the beach and you see some young guy with an impressive physique and completely cut up, or you watch TV and movies and see that, or you see some fitness model on a bowflex commercial, or a pro bb'r just before a comp....what you have to realize is while there may be a few people who have single digit bf% with little effort most of the time what you are seeing is a SNAPSHOT. Some guy whose job is to diet down and get shredded for short periods or some young guy who is soon to have nature catch up with him. And he may not ever be fat but I can assure you he won't always be shredded.
