P90x vs Gym workout fatloss?
i just heared about P90x Workout and its effectiveness also that it is an intense workout means its effective too. anybody have any idea how it is better in losing fat then gym workouts ?

Seriously, the p90x workout is no joke, and I would say it is more effective than working out in the gym for 99% of people. I actually don't think I have ever seen anyone workout as hard in the gym as you do with p90x, so it's definitely a serious workout, and it works. I've done it!

If you're looking to get lean and be in decent cardiovascular shape then go ahead and do P90x.
If you're looking to be strong and get big then hit the weights my friend. IW |
It's a great workout for cutting. Like IW said, will not help build, but is a good way to get lean.

You may be better off just training weights on some days and training cardio on your non-lifting days. Lift weights 3-4 times a week and do some cardio work (treadmill, etc) on your non-lifting days.
But you need to decide what you want to do: either gain mass or lose fat. |
It's a program. I can make any intense program and make it work. What makes it work is it's laid out for you.

P90X is an awesome workout. But you can't really compare it to how it is better than the gym or whatever, because you can do the same thing in the gym. All the same things can be done in the gym. But with that said, P90X is a very well laid out workout program that is very intense and will show great results if you do it correctly.

p90x is great, I just finish first cycle of 90 days and about to start round.
It mixes cardio, lifting, and yoga. It key feature is that is has 12 workouts and changes you routine every 4 weeks so you don't plateau like with a routine workout. |
Should also mention it takes 1-1.5 hours per day 6-7 days a week so it takes some time out of you week.
Nitrition plan is good and follow the 90 day cycle. |
