Default Very stubborn fat

Ever have fat that even though your doing everything right, wont go away? I've been HIIT on a tredmile for about 3 weeks now along with lifting weights. I also skate every wednesday nights. I'm eating very good too, keeping my calories under 2000 a day. I'm taking a fat loss pill called CLA Pure Tonalin CLA Complex. Yet despite all this, I don't look much different from 3 weeks ago.

I weigh 170 lbs which is mostly muscle, but there is that fat that I want gone in the worst way. The foods I've been eating consist mainly of chicken, pasta(not very much), hard pretzels, Peanutbutter sandwhiches, turkey sandwiches, eggs, Zone Perfect bars, bagels, Philly Cheese steak lean pockets, bananas, watermelon, cucumbers and occasionally some tortilla chips, honey roasted peanuts, steak, cheesebergers, and these potato chips that have nothing in them but taste exactly like a normal chip. From reading these boards, none of that stuff seems to bad, if bad at all. I drink water, vitamen water, diet coke, and sometimes milk and orange juice.

As for the exercise. I'm a little hesitant to post this because I know I'm doing way more than I should. I lift once in the morning after breakfast and then once again after dinner. I do about 5 exercises each session, what I do depends on the day. For cardio I run on a tredmile in the morning. I do the "Great Shape" option from the chart posted in the sticky for HIIT. That consist of alternating jogging 60 seconds and then running for 45 seconds a certain amount of times which is 7 for this week. Then after dinner I'll do some jump rope for 10 to 15 minutes. The day I skate is wednesday. Its a pretty fast skate which is an hour long, but I'd say I'm on the ice for about half of it.

My stats
Age: 16
Ht: 5'7''
Wt: 170

I don't know what my body fat % is, all I know is I want it to be lower. I feel a little quicker when I'm skating on the ice so maybe I've lost some, but its pretty hard to notice. Am I far off with what I'm doing? Should I continue and hope for the best? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Weight lose is ALLLLL diet, it doesnt matter how hard your train. Unless your diet is perfect then that last bit will never come off. Refer to Dr.X's Sticky and put a diet together

your food choices arent the best bro. I'll defer to verb, you need to do some research and you will find exactly what your looking for.

Eating MORE of the RIGHT kind of foods seems to be the piece you're missing. Eating lean pockets, cheeseburgers, and potato chips is something I do as a powerlifter..Which means whatever I do, you don't do! j/k

Also keep in mind that after you hit a certain bodyfat level, such as <15%, the fat becomes increasingly more stubborn to lose. You also increase your chances to lose muscle during the cutting process compared to before. I recommend the UD2.0 book. It'll really help you understand why your stalling as well as giving you a plan on how to keep progressing. It's meant for bodybuilders who have that "little extra" to lose, but cannot do it. $20 is a bargain IMO.

I'm guilty on eating the lean pockets a lot, but not cheeseburgers. The potato chips have nothing in them and like the cheesebugers are very rare occasions. What I do eat a lot is the hard pretzels, is that bad?

I'll check out that book. Thanks for everything. This board has helped me a lot with lifting and cardio. I'd be completely lost without you guys

Is there a certain place I can get that book?

Actually, it looks as though he isn't selling any ebooks anymore...Probably because once the sale goes through, everyone starts circulating it for free in all the forums.

I guess all he sells now is the actual book. UD2.0
