| My friend at the gym today was telling me that drinking warm water through out the day will keep your metabolism higher then drinking cold water because the cold usually slows things down i suppose. Was just wondering if anyone else has ever heard if this is true. |

But while cold water may slow down digestion your body has to in essence warm it up so cold water will require you body to burn more energy...not that it's so very significant. |

Gender: | The other day I made the mistake of using cold water out of the fridge for my pre shake and ended up with nausea and a stomach ache for the entire workout. I almost threw up. I went and got some warm water (tepid) and it helped a lot. |
