Gender: | I'm tryingb to find the best workout to lose fat fast. I'm about 175lbs and about 14-16% body fat. I really want to get down to sub 9%. I've read alot about HIIT and low intensity. I try to do HIIT every morning. and low intensity about 3 or 4 days a week along with that. When i do HIIT i do it in the AM and its about 15 minutes on the bike. Do you think that running sprints may be more beneficial to me then stationary bike? |

If you are doing HIIT 7 days a week PLUS some sort of low intensity cardio 3-4 times on top of that I would say you are overdoing the cardio. I would cut back the HIIT to 3-4 sessions MAX. You are running the risk of losing alot of muscle mass by hitting the cardio so hard. Just remember, it is alot easier to lose fat than it is to put on muscle so you really want to be careful.
