Default Canadian Shaver Alert

I picked up some NEW! Edge Advanced(TM) GEL REFRESH YOUR SHAVE(TM) SENSITIVE SKIN shaving cream with ALOE the other day. I like the EDGE shaving creams so I figured Id give this one a shot - to shave off my 7 month old hillbilly beard grown over this last cold spell. I used it once and thought I noticed the smell of that abrasive cleaning powder COMET. I figured the sink had just been devoid of all bacterial residue with that corrosive s  t, so I applied the SENSITIVE SKIN with ALOE cream to my whiskas. I shaved and was happy with the results, yet soon after noticed a subtle 'fire' like pain on my face. The stuff was troubling my skin to the point I had to keep a cold cloth on it for at least 20 mins to chill it off. Anyway that shave was a week ago, the results of that COMET smelling s  t just healed off last night. My skin was fubar, and where ever I had knicked the skin, GIANT, oozing, puss filled zits formed. Bottom-line America - Do not get the COMET-like NEW! Edge Advanced(TM) GEL REFRESH YOUR SHAVE(TM) SENSITIVE SKIN shaving cream with ALOE. It'll mess you up!

Didn't you read the warning label? Where it said "Not for use by Sissies." ?

Talking Don't laugh!

As it would be really inappropriate to type out that I am laughing over post, I will not (type it that is, I'm still laughing).

I actually had a somewhat similar reaction to using a Gillette triple blade about a couple of weeks ago with some gillette shaving cream. I had those bumps anyway. I never get shaving bumps, so it was odd.

Dude, we both probably just caught herpes from some fat Canadian chicks.

Could it have anything to do with the fact that you haven't shaved in 7 months? :o

I was BS'n with the 7 month beard scenario. I shave every night before I go to bed. That stuff is still messing with my skin. I look like Im sixteen again with the crater face - kinda acting sixteen to - DoHH....perhaps... that stuff is a fountain of youth I'll let you know if my voice starts to squeak!
