Default shirts for a v taper

I know we have discussed this somewhat before (possibly on another board) but I just picked up a new CK shirt that fits dam near perfect. with a 47" chest and a 38" gut its hard to find shirts that dont make me look like a fat ass. But the CK athletic fit shirts get it done.

you guys have any brands you like for tapered shirts an what not.

oh and also, i'm finding that if i wear jeans that are 38"s, they dont fit my legs anymore. I have to buy 40" or 42" in order to get my hands in the pockets, what a pain in the ass.

Its all about getting your shirts tailored.

I have had to resort to that for my dress shirts otherwise I look like a slob with all the excess cloth hanging out around my midsection. Just like you, they suggested an athletic cut but they are pretty hard to find and I think paying an extra $10 bucks to have a shirt tailored is well worth it.

Btw where are you finding atheletic cut shirts? I gave up on seeking them out a while ago because when I did find them the stores had a horrible selection.

Kenneth Cole is one of the best stores. Their shirts/pants are really classy, and they never look baggy looking. You do pay the price for them though.

If you have stores like Macy's or the like, they always have a good section of that line of clothes pretty cheap. I go to the Kenneth Cole store here in Mission Viego, CA and most of their shirts are half the price as the ones from that link.

Some of the brands teens go to have shirts like that. Hollister, American Eagle, Abercrombie, and Aeropostale. I'm not sure if they would have sizes that fit you guys but might want to check anyway.

XL shirts at those places fit like a second skin, i might be able to get one of those shirts on, but you'd have to cut it off
