Default A greeting from Down South

Hey ya'll... my name is nate and first time/new member to this forum... Wanted to take the time and introduce myself.. My name is nate. I'm 24 5'6 ruffly 200-205 give or take... I have worked out off and on for the past 5 years. Never really stuck with it... I'm mainly here to keep motivated ask questions get help... I've studied bodybuilding since i was in 7th grade and as you can tell i've studied it for a long time... i'm confident in my knowledge about exercises and nutrition. motivation has always been my weekest aspect as my body would show right now... i would have to describe myself as stocky... wide shoulders, broad chest and thick legs but also a nice belly going on which i'm working on loosing... of course goal would be to be beefed up like hell lol but that will come would just like to loose about 20 more pounds and then start bulking... Gonna try my hardest to compete in the 2009 University of South Carolina Bodybuilding compettition... so yeah... there's my intro so hello...

nate

Welcome. One of my best friends is down at USC. He lives in the new condos across the street from the football stadium. Sorry to hear you're from SC... You seem nice enough despite that. j/k Good luck getting ready for the competition.

welcome and good luck with your goals.

TALO's Sig:"But when do you actually grow? Well, we don't grow in the gym. In the gym, we destroy. We tear down the body. We only grow when we are recovering. That's right, I said recovery. I see it all the time--people beating themselves up in the gym and not seeing results. They don't understand that hitting the weights hard is only a small part of growing or even cutting down. I could train the same all year round and get big or get ripped just by eating different and taking different supplements"

Welcome

Eric3237's Sig:"Not everyone trains for strength": True. Not everyone one is smart either. Personally, I'm training to be an olympic sprinter so I can have big legs. I also like to move huge boulders because I like the way they look over there...
