Default And ANOTHER newbie

Hi all - joined the site today and thought I'd introduce myself. I'm 48 years old and live in the UK. I joined my local gym at the end of January and am LOVING it. I go weight training on 3 alternate days and do a 4th day on a cardio workout.

In the past few years I've been suffering from high blood pressure and have been having it checked every month by my GP. The last time it was checked (2 weeks ago) it was steady at 124/81 - but what's even more pleasing is that my resting heart rate has dropped right down to 48 bpm....I can only put this down the the regular exercise I've been taking and the changes I've made to my diet. Anyway, sorry for the rambling intro, but the gym bug has got me well and truly bitten! Looking forward to reading the board and picking up some handy training tips.

Dave
