hello world

I stumbled on this site a few weeks ago and have been hooked ever since. I've done some reading and feel like there are a lot of guys here that know what they are talking about so I figured I would join up and seek some advice.
Personal info:
I'm 20, 6'0" and about 180 give or take 5. My body fat % based on a cheap electronic test is about 23%. I started working out casually about 2 years ago and started getting serious about it about a year ago. I have been doing some 3 day split training with deacent results and was on a 5 day one muscle group a day program for a few months that was moderately effective but I was genearlly unsatisfied with the results. Trough reading I'm pretty sold on HST training.
Diet:
I attempt to get in about 200 grams of protein a day through eating and drinking protein shakes after working out. I don't take any supplements other than multi vitamins.
Currently I am looking to make some serious size and strength gains, preferrably while dropping my body fat % a little.
Any advice on meeting this goal would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Welcome aboard ... HST is a great program and if done correctly will allow for serious hypertrophy. My suggestion is to eat and eat well, Lots of whole protien, and good carbs.

I would look very seriously at the pre and post workout nutrition articles that are posted, also. Good luck.

thanks for the welcomes,
I read through the pre/post workout nutrition articles and I'll admit that I am confused by much of the terminology. I am new to the nutrition world and could use some help with it. What would help immensely is if someone could suggest some sources of dextrose, maltodextrin, BCAAs, and the various proteins I read about. Brand names/suggestions would be appreciated. Both varieties of whey protein i have (ON wheny and EAS have some BCAAs in them.
thanks again
