stock shocks on this bike suck, there is no adjustment. and they are heaver. the 1000 of course they look nice couse they are gold. have more adjustment, firmer, lighter, and for race use.

john917v 07-14-2008 10:25 PM

Then, you can't go wrong with those, cool. Do you like stretched, dropped sport bikes, choppers, or streetfighters?

rod 07-15-2008 04:04 PM

i like them all.

do you ride?

john917v 07-21-2008 06:11 PM

No, but I'm a cycle enthusiast/general gearhead. I used to have a 2000 250 Ninja, that was given to me by a friend, but I just heard it run. I'd love to have a chopper, though, a one-off!! Or, a sportsbike, dropped, stretched..... (mouth falls open, and starts drooling)

i was the same way. riding is therapy. i hope you get one. check into a bike like mine, they sound like choppers kinda, and they are affordable. look at svrider.com . you can see what you can do with these bikes. i pay 168 a month for mine and its good on gas.

john917v 07-21-2008 06:56 PM

I've really been thinking about one. I'll have to wait, though. The insurance prices will offset the savings on gas for a 21-yr-old like me :(
