Default hola amigos

Hi, I'm Ian. I'm from NW Missouri and am gettin back into working out after about 9mo-1yr of basically nothing. I started a new job over the last year and combined with my other job I was workin 70 plus hours a week. I cut my work schedule back and it's time to start pumpin iron again.

I'm about 6'0 and weigh between 185-195 depending on the day. I'm 21 years old and have been lifting for about 4-5 years. I got into weights through playing football and getting my ass kicked until I hit the weight room. My max lifts were bench press - 275, squat 375, and clean 250. I'm not anywhere near that now especially with the squats, and I don't clean anymore either. My bench is around 225 and squat about 250 (maybe, I've got garbage knees)

Here is how my current routine works:
Day 1: Chest/Arms
Day 2: Legs
Day 3: OFF
Day 4: Shoulders/Back
Day 5: OFF
Day 6: back to beginning

I used to break up chest and arms, but I really want to emphasize those two areas, because my triceps are really lacking.

I am eating a high protein diet supplementing with 2-3 40gm protein shakes daily and I'm still trying to keep low to mid carb intake. I want to stay somewhat lean since it is the summer. I may bulk up in the winter, but for now I'm taking it easy.

Any suggestions or thoughts are more than welcomed. I probably won't post a ton, but I have been working out for a few years and know my fair share about nutrition and body building. I enjoy reading other peoples thoughts and ideas and you can always learn from those who have more experience. Look forward to talking to you.

Welcome man

TALO's Sig:"But when do you actually grow? Well, we don't grow in the gym. In the gym, we destroy. We tear down the body. We only grow when we are recovering. That's right, I said recovery. I see it all the time--people beating themselves up in the gym and not seeing results. They don't understand that hitting the weights hard is only a small part of growing or even cutting down. I could train the same all year round and get big or get ripped just by eating different and taking different supplements"
