Default I want my legs to look good - please help!

So far everything is going well with my weight loss. I've lost 12 lbs. (I was 148) so far and am starting to tone up nicely. My major trouble area though are my thighs. Someone please give me advice on how to get them muscular. I usually do cardio 5 times a week, sometimes 6, and I do strength training on my legs at least twice a week. Am I doing something wrong? The inches are coming off sloooow on my legs compared to the rest of my body.

What type of cardio are you doing and what does your workout look like?
Also, think of it like this, at least the weight IS coming off. So you're already doing good. It's not like your doing things wrong. You may just need a tweak. If you were doing things wrong, you'd be gaining weight.

Well for about 3 months I was doing the eliptical twice a day. Once in the morning for 45 min, and then after work for 30 min. Work has been a little crazy for the past month so I've only been able to hit the gym after I'm off. I changed over to the treadmill and run 2 miles 2 out of the 5 days, and 3.5 miles the other 3 days. As for the strength training, I lunge until I can't lunge anymore, then I do every machine there is in the gym for my legs. I do this 2 days in a row if I'm not too sore. The only reason I do it two days in a row now is because I got advice from Tammy Pies - and she knows what she's doing - on how to work my legs out, and she does the same thing before a competition. I thought that switching over to the treadmill would have actually been the "tweak" because my body was so used to the eliptical. So what do you think?

Well, legs workouts two days in a row on top of cardio seems to be overkill. Do you just do cardio at a constant pace or do you do any HIIT work? Also, what's your diet look like?

The cardio usually is either the treadmill for 2.5 - 3.5 miles or 35-40 minutes straight at a steady pace. After the treadmill, I break for about 10 minutes and then get on the eliptical machine and kick my own ass for 30-45 minutes. My diet is clean. I only take in about 1800 calories a day. I do have at least one cheat day a week though (usually Saturday), and then I start right back again on Sunday. My leg work out consists of a lot of lunges, squats, and any other machine I can find in the gym that is for legs. It usually takes me about an hour to complete the workout, and then I do the cardio.

you are doing too much cardio and not changing it up. Read up on HIIT and for 1 week I would only do 30 mins of HIIT 5 days a week. This will shock your system and maybe get you to burn more cals. Then after that switch out HIIT with the steady pace cardio. But at least do HIIT 3 times a week.
