New guy...help needed.

Hey guys whatsup...i need a little help with my supplements/routine. I started by doing p90x last november and i did it till this last march..then i took a little bit of a break and got back into working out mid july. Im doing this to gain mass...as far as routine i do chest/back-mondays..shoulders/arms-tuesday...legs-wednesday...chest/back-thursday...shoulders/arms-friday...as far as supplements i take jacked before i workout and i used to take creatine...and i drink quicker gainer with whole milk too. I was think of getting amino acids, a post workout protein that i can take with water and a good multi vitamin...i want to gain lots of mass over the winter what do you guys think of that for supplements.

I think chest/tris, back/bis/, & shoulders/legs is a better split but it's up to you. Gaining mass isn't about supplements or training. You have to be on a bulking diet to gain mass so keep that in mind.

Supplements:
Whey protein
creatine
multi vitamin
fish oils
pre WO

That's all you need. you can make your own weight gainers by adding blended oatmeal and yogurt to your protein shakes. Cheaper and you know what's actually in it.

Ill try that workout regime instead. And what do you think of taking amino acids. Also I stopped taking creatine because i heard all it is is water weight and thats not what i want

I don't think aminos are necessary. I have a multi that has aminos in them and my whey is full of aminos so I think it becomes a bit overkill. As for the creatine, it does make you retain more water but it increasing strength and decreasing recovery time so the benefits outweight the negatives in my opinion.

What do you take for a multivitamin and I was thinking switching it up from jacked to hemo rage for my preworkout...so i was wondering if hemo rage is that much better.

never heard of hemo rage to be honest. The popular ones seem to be jack3d, superpump, NO Xplode, 1MR (one of my favs), and White Flood. I like Bodyforge too (non stim though).

I take Opti-Men for my multi. Good brand and not too expensive. I only take two on workout days even though it says to take like 3 every day. My diet is good enough to skip them on off days in my opinion.
