Hello all...

I am new to the hole fitness thing.I recently bought a Marcy Impex 2100(home gym)and am starting to workout.I am doing a 3 day per week complete body workout.I started about a week ago.I am 5'11 and weigh 175 I am about to turn 37 and Over the past ten years I have put on some weight.went from a 29 to a 34 trouser.I am not really dieting but I have cut out the soda(probably 6 a day)and the candy and chips.I drink allot of water now.I am looking to build some muscle and slim my waist down a bit.I am an Auto tech so I am on my feet all day and do allot of walking.I have been reading allot of stuff and it is alittle overwhelming.I have looked over a lot of forums and the people on here seem great so I joined and just wanted to introduce myself....

Great start!

Welcome.

Darkhorse's Sig:My Training Philosophy

how big would you be if ALL you did was:

Squat 400 x 20
Deadlift 500 x 5
Bench 315 x 5, or dip with 100 lbs added.
Chin with 75 lbs strapped to your waist x 5
Miltary Press 225 x 8

Pretty ****ing big is my guess. Without any "rear delt work".

Hello Cly my name is Pete Hildebrand my login is Hercules (don't let the login name fool you).
I just started my body building journey this last week (seriously anyway), I've dabbled on and off, but never fully devoted my self to it till last week.
I have to agree with your statement that there is a ton of good advice here on this site and I too find it confusing! I guess it will take me a while to learn the lingo of body building.
Well good luck and wish me luck too please.
