I've been searching the web for info and looking for a good magazine to find out how to get started and plan a routine, all I am finding is ad's and bull%^t.

Welcome to the board Frank.

I agree that there is alot of crap based around fitness on the net, most of it due to product marketing. If you got any questions feel free to post them within the specific forums and we can help you out.

Welcome! Ditto on what Sleazy and Dave said.

Eric3237's Sig:"Not everyone trains for strength": True. Not everyone one is smart either. Personally, I'm training to be an olympic sprinter so I can have big legs. I also like to move huge boulders because I like the way they look over there...

Default Thanks

Thanks for the warm welcome and good advice, I'm gonna do as much reading as my little brain can handle without going into information overload. this is my first serious attempt at trying to get into better shape. I am excited and want to learn as much as possiable and try to avoid injuries (from not knowing what I am doing.)
thanks again
Frank
