Ok my name is Dave,I am 28 y/o 5'9 sitting at 182lbs and 8-9%BF...I have been traing most of my life because I had been a football player most of my young life(Tailback)..I Took a layoff to party WAYYY too much from 19-23 and went from a muscular 185 to a scrawny 125lbs!! I started training hardcore again at 23 with my girlfriend, and at that time I started really getting into the nutrition side of things.I presently work in an electronics lab,and go to school for nutrition, plus work as a bartender for my g/f's grandfathers catering company...Well i hope others ad to this thread so we can get to know each other..

Age: 22
Height: 5'11 (although I like to say 6' :P)
Weight: 225
Bf: No accurate measure, getting tested next week

I am currently finishing up my senior year at the University of Iowa, but am originally from Illinois. I started weightlifting for football in highschool (defensive tackle) but when it finished and I went to college I basically sucked down any booze and food that came my way. This led me to put on quite a bit of weight and it was getting pretty noticable since I have always been a "big guy". So about 2 1/2 years ago I realized I needed to change things up and started to get my nutrition and fitness back in check. Been lifting steadily for about 2 years now since I restarted and am loving every minute of it. I am currently using the 5x5 program which has helped me to steadily increase my lifts and my diet has been slowly bringing down my BF%. Over the past year I have put on a considerable amount of muscle as my weight went up while still leaning out, but now I am focusing on showing off my work so am strictly cutting and hope to get around 205 by the summer. It's almost an addiction now as I read all the books, watch Pumpin Iron at least once a week, and am always thinking about breaking plateaus.

Hello. I am 23 (24 next month) and have been training for almost a year. I am 5'9.5 160# and approx. 14%bf. I have learned a lot from forums (and dave876) about the important things in bodybuilding such as diet. For the first 7-8 months I concentrated all my efforts on cutting and bulking and as you may have guessed got nowhere. The last 2 months I focused on cutting a bit and now I am to the bulking which is much more fun.

My name's Dan. I'm 5'10'' and weigh 247 lbs. I'm 25 years old and have been training for 8 solid years. I live in the O.C. so I have access to all the best equipment, unfair I know. Don't know my bodyfat but I know it's low...Still have decent abs. Two days ago I benched 365 x 4 (3 by myself) I have stretch marks the size of California on my arms (19 inches) and front delts. People say it's good though. Got out of the Marines a few months after combat operations in Iraq were declared over. Earned my Combat Action, seven times over. I was in the infantry, the only m.o.s. that matters. Got slammed with viral meningitis for my homecoming and was hospitalized for 2 weeks. At that point I weighed 158 or so. Fast forward to today and WOW, so I know what I'm talking about. If it sounds like I'm full of myself...I am. Every bodybuilder should be! Just ask yourselves...How many times do you look in that gym mirror and give a little flex... ;)

I keep my weekly updated stats in my signature, if you can decrypt the DOD level 9 algorithm...HAHA. Been working out since MS/HS. Bulking is way too easy for me so I spend all my time watching my diet(it could be better) and training to get my abs to show back up. Lately I have been thinking about competeing but probably won't since I can't get my BF low enough. Who knows, maybe one day.

Howdy all, 48 y/o, 5'9" 180 pounds. Been lifting iron for 3/4 my life. Love bulking but have to cut, getting harder to do with a slowing metabolism. :(

27 y/o, bounce between 160-165, 5'11, skinny guy. I've been training for about year and a half and have gained 10+ pounds so far. Finally getting serious consistent training, proper diet and trying to catch some extra zs. Proper diet is a bitch, no booze (during the week), no soda or sugary drinks...so far the hardest obstacle to climb.
