Default Been chasing new PR's

I have switched gears over the last year and gone from doing BB back to my roots of powerlifting. I compete in the USPF and WNPF 198lb Police Div or Submasters.

I am heading for the World Police Games next month in Florida at Disney World. I even have my wife competing now in powerlifting meets.

Hey thank you guys very much! Very nice to have people that are supportive and friendly...unlike lots of forums out there.

I will keep an update of things as they progress. Today, I did my first 405lb bench in my Katana. I have had issues with getting it seated up in my armpits and pretty much not being able to use the shirt.

Now if my shoulder will just hold on for the Olympics! Long story, but a job risk, I took a ride on some a**holes hood a couple years ago and messed up my shoulder.

Awesome.. I was talkign with Big Jim about using a shirt for benching but he said that it's A LOT different than benching raw. Technique gets it up (and down lol).. Of course he's in the 700's LOL. I've hit 405 raw on many occasions, but I've always been hesitant to try that too many times without some major protection lol.

Anyways, feel free to throw up a journal as well. We've got quite a few recreational powerlifters on here.

X2 Start a log

I hear benching with the shirt is real hard to get used to.
