I find that a fighters personality will make or break me as a fan. I usually notice their talent first, but if they are a crappy person then I don't like them. Case in point: Matt Hughes. The guy is extremely talented, but I think he has a shitty attitude and so I usually am rooting against him in fights. Hope the Terror Serra crushes him!

^^^ totally agree. I use to be a Hughes fan then I saw how he was in the reality show and I just can't stand him. I can't wait to see the new season of The Ultimate Fighter. Saw some clips of it, and it looks like it's going to be the most violent season to date. It looked like they did nothing but fight IN the house.

I just recently started watching MMA and Randy Couture is my favorite so far. Like everyone says, he's a classy guy. I'm glad to see he's getting out there and doing other things bedsides fighting.

I know what your saying man, when I saw the previews I was just shocked by how much fighting they were showing in the house! Should be a good season...

What about St. Pierre? Are you guys glad he won? I didn't see the fights. He did win right?

I need to organize UFC party's with my friends to cover the charges because I just can't afford the PPV. I'm always afraid I'll pay up and the big fight turns out to be a knockout in the first minute. Not that that bothers me in terms of fighting. To me it's a fight first rather than a show. But I don't want to pay for that

I hear what your saying Eric, but lately the payperviews have been so great that they really are worth paying for. Every fight in this last payperview was exciting to watch. I live in a dorm and we all pile into my buddies room that has a big screen and he one person buys pizza one buys the beer and another the ppv. It usually all works out.

And yes I am glad GSP won his fight. He is a great fighter and a great guy...looking forward to him making a comeback!

When is this starting.?..I love all these shows... Do you know who's coaching the teams ?

TALO's Sig:"But when do you actually grow? Well, we don't grow in the gym. In the gym, we destroy. We tear down the body. We only grow when we are recovering. That's right, I said recovery. I see it all the time--people beating themselves up in the gym and not seeing results. They don't understand that hitting the weights hard is only a small part of growing or even cutting down. I could train the same all year round and get big or get ripped just by eating different and taking different supplements"

I think the season starts maybe in October? Not sure on that though...and the coaches are Matt Hughes and Matt Serra who dislike each other very much.
