Anabolic Burst Cycling of Dieting and Exercise. I came across this today in a book I was reading and found it very intresting. I will list the basics of it and if anyone else finds it intresting I would be more then happy to post more.
The first 2 weeks of it you will follow a very high calorie diet. (The author of the book says you can eat what ever you want) IT should be 20percent protien 50 percent carbs and 30 percent fat. during these two weeks you will do no cardio, and should be concentrating on stacking on as much weight as you can while lifting, you should aim to lift at least 4 times a week.
The next two weeks consits of very strict dieting taking in less calories then are needed to maintain your current weight. 40-45percent protien 40-45percent carbs and 10-20 percent fat. You want to aim for at least 20 minutes of cardio a day perf. in the morning on an empty stomach. and your lifting will be less intense because you will be in turn starving yourself ,your metabolism will still be burning calories at the rate that it was when you were taking in the tremendous amounts of food.
By switching every 2 weeks you trick you body, when your in your bulking cycle your metabalism will be very slow so it will be very easy to put on mass, the same is true when you go into the cutting phase your metabalism will be working much faster so you are able to burn much more fat without sacrificing allot of the muscle that is sometimes lost during cutting over a long period of time.
There allot more details and I'm sure most of you have already heard of it but if anyone is intrested I could give you more info on it

Interesting, but i know for myself i need more then two weeks to grow at all. not to mention more then two weeks to lose any kind of fat ... not to sound skeptical, but a fluctuation at any more then 2lbs either way is too extreme to be significant muscle gain or fat loss, I dont think this would work (for me atleast).
