| This has been bugging me lately. In the past when i have used BCAA's while cutting they seemed to diminish my wieghtloss. Now there could be a few reasons for this. (1) Fat loss was not hindered, but a body recomp was seen. This tends to happen to me and I dont realize it, thats why I rarely look at a scale anymore. (2) I believe I simply added multiple servings to my diet, not adjusting my calories to include bcaa's. Normally this wouldnt be a huge problem, but taking in 30-40g of them in a day would up my cal intake significantly. (3) The bcaa's simply affected my fat loss through some pathway i'm not aware of. And I have seen no evidence anywhere to this conclusion. Now with those three things laid out, how would you suggest I dose my BCAA's. I'm coming off a mdien cycle, so I will need them to help keep strength up. Here are the options I've come up with. (1) Use 14g 2-3x a day with meals, cutting my protien intake at that meal by 14g. Basicly replacing whole protien with BCAA's at certain meals. (2) Mix a large container of BCAA's (50g) and sip it through the day. Decreasing my overall protien intake by 50g a day. (3) other suggestions are welcome. I will post a full pct layout in my journal today if you wish to look it over. let me know what you guys think. |
