Gender: | I went into work tonight to pick up but no one wanted to go home, therefore I did the next best thing....DRINK. I don't drink very often because I'm really trying to cut, but I love Rock Green Light and Rum *anykind*, plus tommorrow is an off day for me. So... before I get too inebriated I must ask the rest of you all, how often do the rest of you drink? Since everyone on this site is somewhat or very serious about their bodies, and we all know that booze and training don't mix very well, who parties and who doesn't, and if you do, do you see negative affects from a night out, (other then the occasional questionable hookup)? Personally I really don't see a real difference, maybe if I boozed it up every night but I only drink like twice a week maybe three times if I'm feeling it. I just avoid the late night munchies and Guiness. lol |

Gender: | Yeah ive been real bad lately. Took a week off between 5x5 and dft and things went downhill. One night wont kill you, but i think a few nights in a row, for me anyways, will change not only my drive to go to the gym but just how i function. I dont feel as energetic. Plus from what ive read it decreases protein synthesis by quite a bit. 35% I think was the number ![]() |

Gender: | I don't drink anymore. I did all my drinking for my entire life in a one year period so I could get it out of the way. Or was that a one month period? I don't really remember. |

Gender: | I drink like a fish. During the school year (sept-may) I drink maybe 4-5 times a week, getting shitfaced maybe 3-4 times in that period. The only negative I have encountered is a hangover (decreased energy and apetitte). I've seen great gains even while I'm taking time off from the bottle (maybe a few months dry). Honestly I don't see a big negative effect...If I did I would surely cut it out. Or at least reduce it |

| Rank: Member Experience: 1-2 Years | I never use to drink as much as I do now that I am in the military. I use to partake in "other" activities that I cannot do while Im in the military. I think its just my environment that is causing me to drink often. I am stationed in North Dakota with a bunch of alcoholics! ![]() |

Gender: | Kane I used to be the same way, but I graduated in may and I'm about to go to law school so... I'm about to be back in school So I feel you my brother, and Eddie the 4th is definitely a day to pass the bottle. I too gain Kane, and if I wasn't I would cut out the drinking. I just avoid hangovers and late night munchies like pizza and sh*t, but that said it's Thursday night so cheers!! |
