Default Carb and Caloric Cycling

I have heard that using both these methods can increase metabolism, and restore the muscles. If you need more detail, it is where you increase caloric/cheat day and carb intake on certain days. I wanted some opinions from anybody that has tried this method.

I have already eliminated the cheat day, since I cannot tolerate junk food (stomach pains) and have opted to increase calorie intake Friday-Sunday.

I usually consume around 80g or less carbs mostly coming from (oatmeal, and greens) per day M-S, but have been told by my training partners that I need more since I do cardio and weight everyday.

I wanted some input from anybody that has tried this, or is currently using this method.

Thank You
