| Hey all, just wondering what foods are high in carbs? In that i mean naturally high, or cooked meals that can be donw quickly, as i dont have alot of time to sit around preparing meals. Just pretty much eat on the go. Ive got my protein requirements sorted, now just this. Cheers |

| Moderator Rank: Light Heavyweight Experience: 7-10 Years | my favorite is sweet potatoes. I buy tons of cans. For a small can it's 37 grams of carbs per serving, 2.5 servings per can. It is higher in sugar, but good none the less unless. Also, instant oatmeal is another excellant choice. |

Gender: | sweet potatoes are good, and one day if you do have the time throw a whole sweet potatoe in the oven...thats good stuff, better than from a can but it does take some time |

| Top o my list.... ground oats, put in a shake for quick meal, Cereal. sweet pots and yams can be canned. I make all my stuff in large batches, I will cook around 10 pots at a time so I can eat on M, W, and F. Or make a large thing of Rice. Canned soups are good, I ate a black bean, and will have tomato soup in a few minutes. Baked beans are quick.... add BBQ sauce, tasty. Oatmeal (Old Fashioned or Quick Oats) Sweet Potatoes Yams Beans (pinto, black, kidney) Oat Bran Cereal Rye Cereal Brown Rice Farina (Cream of Wheat) Multigrain Hot Cereal Whole wheat or Spinach Pasta Rice (white, jasmine, basmati, Arborio, wild) Potatoes (red, baking, new) Quinua |

| Cheers for the help guys, i think i'll pop down to the shops later and pick up some sweet potatoes and oatmeal then. Its pretty full on trying to eat the right amount of calories a day (bout 4k) but am starting to feel the benifits allready |

| Also, If you are bulking, have fun. Grab a blender and try anything. recees bp cups, ice, water or milk, and chocolate pro powder. pro powder, milk or water depending on fruit, fruit, ice. pro powder, milk, and a pop tart of your choice. Baked potato chips, Sandwich with no mayo, make it a triple stacker. Tomorro I am going to make a pot of noodles, then split it up into a few containers, add some meat on the side.... Goes in the freezer for microwave meals at work. Planning in the kitchen will help tremendously. |
