Default Cheat Days

Well I have a question on cheat days. I'm cutting and to be honest don't feel the need for a cheat day.

But in some of the reading I've been doing it says it's necessary to help kick your metabolism back up.

BTW I had a cheat day today, went to meet my Sisters boyfriend. He's a competive bodybuilder seems like a really cool guy, Anyway we went to a great rib place and had the all you can eat ribs, you know the big beef ribs. I lost track after about 13 or 14, it was sorta funny everyone else was done my wife, mom, dad, sister kids, and we were like keep them coming, had two huge mountains of bones sitting on the table

Well, here is an analogy. Its like being in a nice cool air conditioned place then stepping out into the blistering sun. It feels so much hotter than it really is. Well, thats how your metabolism is when you cheat then go back on the diet.

you guys are funny. I like the humor level on this forum lately, its keeping me entertained.

Joker, I know how you feel, you wanna be 100% dedicated to the diet, and you dont think cheats are nessisary. Just keep in mind that 6 weeks down the road, you may not feel the same way. Planned Cheat meals are a easy way to curb junk food cravings down the road. if you plan it, you wont over due it. It also has a very good impact not just on metabolism, but also on your mental stability.

Depending on the type of diet your following, you may even be losing more fat durring your cheat days, then you are the rest of the time.

I don't know of a single person who can stay on a strict diet, seven days a week.

BTW, if it makes you feel better, I had two orders of stuffed Jalapeno peppers from Jack in the Box last night. My stomach is VERY messed up today as a result.

I must say I did enjoy yesterdays cheat meal. I'm not kidding when I say I havent cheated since I started my contest over at S.M. that was about 53 days ago. I eat very boring egg whites, chix, turkey, brown rice, lean ground sirlion. but don't mind it. when I have gotten cravings to cheat I just throw on 10 eggs w/ 3 yellows fills me up and cravings go away.

I think I'll have to throw in a cheat day every 2 weeks.

I know pictures speak louder then words, So I'll put some up at the end of the month. as of today 286lbs

Thanks for the feedback guys

Damn people, these are normal days to me. Cheating would constitue two pints of ben and jerrys.

(I'm kidding, sort of).

EricT's Sig:I'm tired of the myth that bb'rs aren't flexible. As a group, they are extremely flexible. They have an amazing ability to bend over, place their heads between their legs, and blow smoke up their own asses.
