Default cottage cheese on ckd

is cottage cheese ok on keto(ckd)?some say its ok, others say its not since it contains milk which will cause an insulin spike and kick you out of ketosis.need to clear this up.i have like 2 containers of cc in my fridge

There really aren't enough carbs in cottage cheese for it to knock you out of ketosis. I believe most brands have 4-5g of carbs per serving at most so it shouldn't be an issue. Like hrdgain said, I've eaten it many times on a ckd and never was knocked out of ketosis from it.

You need to make sure that your not eating "lite" mayo because they add carbs to it. I would also stay away from psuedo mayo like miracle whip. I wouldnt advocate having mayo with every meal, but it is just whipped eggs (and some other shit) so I guess your alright.
