| Alright heres my question... I put up this question on my Cee-Pro Forum but I dont want to waste anymore room on their. Would it be Beneficial to take Cee-Pro Creatine while on a cutting diet. I dont understand why creatine still wouldnt help out while cutting... Its going to store my water and give me the energy (that I will need cause of the No-Low Carb diet)... So why wouldnt it help me out??? P.S Sorry wrong place to put it!!! |

| Rank: Bantamweight | Just think of it this way: what are you trying to cut? Body fat right? Creatine does not lead to an increase of body fat, but theoretically, an increase in muscle mass. If you were to be entering a bodybuilding competition, yuu certainly wouldn't want the water retention. But I'm guessing that is not the goal. |

I would like to add this, however: Creatine works by helping your muscles intake more water....when you are dieting, particularly when you are doing a lot of cardio and cutting back on carbs, you body tends to dehydrate, and you end up p*ssing out a lot of the water in your body. Some bodybuilders use duiretics too, and then you are definately peeing out a lot of your product. I personally have experienced an increase in muscle cramps when I've gone on a low carb diet while using creatine, I guess I just didn't care, because it didn't stop me. So...I guess it's up to the individual, if you are short on cash and have to decide between certain supplements while you're cutting...I'd recommend using L-Glutamine, because it can help retain muscle mass during stages of dieting. I usually use creatine for the first half of my cutting cycle, because it helps me maintain strength while I'm dieting (since I tend to get weaker with less food). I cut the creatine out in the second half, because I've already gained all the mass I want, and at that point, I want to drop all my water weight. Once I drop the creatine, I lose another 10-15 lbs quickly and I feel very cut up. I stay off the creatine for about 2 months, during beach time in the summer, and then I hit it hard after summer is over. This is just what I do, please get other opinions, as there are several regulars on here that are more experienced at bodybuilding than I am (and it's always good to get a few opinions!) Does anybody have any info or theories on CEE PRO and it's effects during cutting? Maybe it works differently than the Micronized Creatine I've been using up until a week ago. Not sure. :( Raven |

The PRO part, I think is supposed to be a better way to get the CEE absorbed. I don't know how anyone can tell how quickly or effectively creatine is absorbed as opposed to another type. You can't feel or see it in the muscles. | |

| Moderator Rank: Light Heavyweight Experience: 7-10 Years | It's funny that muscletech adds in only 200 grams of ALA to help it sell. They're basically trying to say, "Well, our brand has ALA and it'll further transport." ALA does help creatine transpo yes, but 200 grams won't make too much difference IMO. That's like the weightgainer shakes I was talking about. "Our's has 2.2 grams of creatine mono while other's don't so buy our brand and get swole" Yeah, I piss out 2.2 grams.. |

| For me the biggest issue with creatine while cutting is taking in the amount of sugar needed to have correct uptake into the muslces (mono). Cee allows me to stay low carb, and not worry about the extra dextrose. Water retention is no big deal to me, i want to lose fat, not water. |
