Default Dextrose/malto sources?

Where does everyone get their Dextrose and malto. from? I have not found any source of them, except for these electrolyte packets, that are largely malto. As far as Dextrose, I've called a few places, and I've even asked for it under it's 'simple' name-corn sugar, but to no avail, they only say that they have corn syrup.

Besides that there is NOW Foods brand as well. The malto is called "carbogain" and the dextrose is, well called "dextrose"

They have that at bulknutrition.com and a number of other places. BB.com as well but I boycott their asses.

Nutraplanet has some prodcuts as well I'm pretty sure (nutraplanet.com).

ProteinFactory has a lot of carb products including malto and dex.

Powerade powder drink mix that you buy at the grocery store has dextrose listed as the main ingredient. However, the premixed bottle versions use high fructose corn syrup. Also the Gatorade powder uses HFCS as well so stick to the Powerade.

Other then that I've ordered some from bb.com and it's only a few bucks.

That's the truth. It's almost like they encourage that crap over there but that site is also the world leader when it comes to thinking body part splits + 30 sets per muscle is a great routine. I stopped responding to most training threads over there.

I've seen plenty of evidence to suit me that they do implicitly encourage it. They simply want TRAFFIC. Lots of members.

I use a product called Carbomax for my maltodextrin, I bought it in a 5 gallon bucket. I mix it 50/50 with orange gatorade mix (sucrose/dextrose) for my pre/ during/ and post workout drink. I think weight gainer shakes are also high in maltodextrin.

Yep, some are. I forgot about carbomax.

The only thing about the dextrose, for those who are cheap, is that plain old bulk destrose is MUCH more cost efficient. Otherwise I'd just go with the gatorade powder or whatever as well.

I want someone to try ProteinFactory's "instant oat muscle" product. Who wants to be a guinea pig? On their wallet of course

I'll keep looking around town. Otherwise, I'll go with Nutraplanet's $4 bag.

Thanks, everyone. I have learned A LOT compared to what I used to know, which was not much. Now, I'm seeing the gains I've never even imagine, support, motivation, ideas, techniques, and much more, thanks to bb.net! I feel better than I ever have!!!
