You are first of all slowing down your metabolic rate (the rate in which you burn calories while still). Secondly your body is conserving fat and burning muscle for energy and this is increasing your bodyfat percentages. You may look good in clothes but underneath (swimtrunks) you will look a mess..Your belly and breasts will still be there, just smaller. The next thing you will notice is the next time you pick up a gallon of milk it will seem a little heavier because you will have lost muscle mass and strength as a result. Believe it or not you need to eat in order to loose (bodyfat). I'm sure someone else will be along to clarify momentarily......gotta go. |

| Your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to everything it can and will store fat and eat away your muscle. Like Brad said diet and exercise and when you said you will workout every now and again you will not be very successful on gaining muscle and you will be getting weaker. |
