How many eggs does the avrage female body Builder eat in a week ?
just starting to look at my protien intake . and what my protien reqirments may be for a 5 feet 3inch female sitting at 9 stone thats wanting to build good muscles .
I am now starting to re look at the foods I am eating and what I need to eat . I can see from this Nutrition forum I need to eat plenty of mean and fish .

If any of the other women on here can give me a list of what they would consume in a day in there 4 to 6 meals I would be greatfull ?

As very new to this I am still at the conventional breakfast stage . of 2 wholegrane toast then 1 large Banana for my mid morning snack .

what is 9 stone in pounds? generally you want to shoot for 1.5-2 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight...

It really depends on how many eggs you want to eat. Eggs are a great source of protein. In a normal week, I don't eat an egg. There are lots of ways to meet your protein requirements and it's your choice how you meet them.

I think when the weather warms up and our chickens start laying, I'll probably eat a couple dozen a week.

1 stone = 14 pounds.

2g/pound is a little high, unless cals are very low.

Depends on the person. Some never eat eggs. Some eat a lot of them.

I usually go through a dozen egg whites a day, or 84 a week.

I'd say 150g a day would be a good number to aim for.

I won't give exact numbers (since I'm kinda secretive about the specifics of my diet), but here's an overview:

meal 1:

Protein (usually egg whites)
oats
berries

(train)

meal 2:

Protein
rice

meal 3:

Protein
yams
veggies

meal 4:

Protein
almonds
veggies

meal 5:

Protein
peanut butter
veggies

meal 6:

Protein
cheese
veggies

Note that there's protein in EVERY meal. NO fats in the post workout meal. And carbs are centered around the workout.

Again, protein in every meal. Whether it comes from eggs, meats, or a protein powder it really doesn't matter. As long as you get it in there.

The yolks are high in cholesterol. They also contain many, many more nutrients than the white. The white contains about 1g more protein than the yolk. What I normally do is have 2-3 whole eggs scrambled, and then have 6 whites.

I do eat yolks sometimes. It all depends on what part of the competitive season I'm in. When I'm getting more calories, I have some yolks. Fewer calories, I cut them out.

The yolk does have some protein in it (1-2g). It's also the main source of fats from an egg (which is the main reason I cut them out as my calories get lower - fat cals can add up pretty quickly).

A whole, large egg has:

6g Protein
5g Fat
0g Carb
71 Cals

The egg white has:

4g Protein
0g Fat
0g Carb
16 Cals
