Well for me the difference is ice cold water while I workout gives me nausea or stomach discomfort. I tend to sip on a shake while I work out so if I use really cold water for that it's even worse. I guess it's because the water has to be heated before it can be absorbed and I've read that it basically "shuts down" digestion in the stomach for a bit. But all I really know is cold water equals stomach ache while workout out. A few others I think have said the same thing happens to them. Room temperature or even a little colder is fine...just nothing out of the fridge.

EricT's Sig:I'm tired of the myth that bb'rs aren't flexible. As a group, they are extremely flexible. They have an amazing ability to bend over, place their heads between their legs, and blow smoke up their own asses.
