Meal 6: 9:00 Post workout Muscle Milk shake I tend to find something around the house to eat again I do have this stuff called, Probolic-SR. It has all three types of protien. Suppose to be good for bedtime. Its by MHP. It doesnt mix very well, so I have been ignoring it. I couldnt find any frozen turkey burgers, so I picked up some frozen beef ones. So what else needs to be adjusted? You all have been very helpful. Im almost there! Last edited by TrancerZX; 02-12-2006 at 09:08 PM. |

Trancer, in that MHP product you have, soy protein, I think is the primary source, but it has whey and casein also, plus a bunch of free BCAA's. (If I remember correctly). I would go ahead and chug that down, regardless of how well it mixes, but don't buy it again. You don't need fancy proteins like that and there are more cost effective options available. I would stay away from soy protein as a powdered supplement in general. As far as the cottage cheese problem, do you have any stomach discomfort from milk in general? There still might be some lactose hanging around in cottage cheese. Or you could just be sensitive to casein, who knows? If it has been a while since you've tried it, then I would suggest purchasing small containers and trying it again just to see if you react any differently now. As far as not liking certain things, well, I don't like cottage cheese very much myself, and some of the other things I eat. That is the price you pay, sometimes, to put on muscle. So whats the deal with Soy Protien? It says it has Whey, Iso, and Casien protien in it. Is it another name for Iso? I may end up grabbing a container of cottage cheese. Anything else need to be adjusted in my diet guys? | |

| Rank: New Member | you should also look into the three hour window after you work out. After you work out you should have 3 meals on each hour. I use meal replacements. Most of your calories should be after you work out. Eat stuff with sugar for an insolin spike and you want to have no more then 10 grams of fat, the less the better. Look up the 3 hour window it would help a lot. ![]() |
