Further reading for the 3 or 4 of us who are interested http://www.ajcn.org/cgi/content/full/79/4/537 It's kind of interesting because of all the hoopla about insulin spikes and fat. Fructose (unaturally large amounts in diets) don't stimulate an insulin response...so they point out this could cause people to overconsume since insulin is a regulator of food intake. |

Gender: | I would agree with that It's the on going battle of pop (soda)....Regular vs Diet...Personally when I do drink it, it's diet. Maybe 1 a day.....Aspartame isin't the best thing for you either. Hell, I know some people that drink over 6 regular pops a day on a good day...It's sick. |

Gender: | Yeah. Hopefully this all helps put the fruit versus fructose versus glycemic load thing into perpective. I just looked at a pepsi can. 41 grams of carbs from HFCS. |
