| Rank: Member Experience: 1-2 Years | Yeah I know when I smoked it didnt put me in any type of "training" mood or mentality. I just wanted to be lazy and there isnt anything wrong with that it just doesnt mix with what people are trying to achieve on this forum. I think it just comes down to how serious you are about reaching your goals. If pot holds you back then its not worth it. |

Gender: | Yes, exactly. Only you know how it affects you. And your mood in the gym is going to impact your gains. Many times I have a habit of trying to read between the lines. Ranger, you said like to smoke week a lot so I'm assuming that a lot means a lot, you know? And I ALWAYS say look at the BIG PICTURE first. The big picture is how it affects you actual mood, your efforts in the gym, all that. Estrogen is one tree....the other stuff is the forest. I don't mean to offend even though I might come on strong. Every thing I say, is meant as a sincere effort to help, not to just criticize. So Ranger, I'm sorry for offending you, but my answer was honestly meant to help from a perspective gaining standpoint. If it didn't it didn't but that is how it was meant. And good job moderating Huntor |

| i have no problem getting in the gym after smoking b/c i know i cant miss a day. Im not going to stop smoking because of a motivation problem....that will never be an issue to me. I will stop smoking if it affects my body to the point that it prevents muscle building. All i was asking was how does it affect my body...like raise in estro, or a decrease in test, and so on...anything of that nature. i do appreciate you trying to help with your big brother advice, but i was looking for a more educated reply. |

Gender: | It was a more educated reply. Or maybe I should say, so as not to offend anyone, that it was more applicable. Sorry you can't see that. People are giving you answers based on things they simply don't know. There hasn't been enough research for anyone to be able to give definitive answers on estrogen and test. If you would consider what I said about the big picture you might see that this is the only thing you can be very concrete about. How it affects you. I tried to clarify and be gracious but it was to no avail. If you've never trained without smoking then you don't have a reference point in which to gauge this. If your do have a reference then you can use this a a better gauge than to look for a pseudo scientific answer for which none really exists. But I can see that you have closed your mind to every thing I say. So good luck on finding a real answer to your question. As far as my wasting any ones time and my advice in general, I've helped a lot of people on this forum and asked for very little of people's time in return. If your feel your time is wasted than I am sorry for that. But you asked for help on a forum and I tried to speak to that. Maybe you don't like my method, and that's ok, but to question my intentions there is no need. Last edited by Eric3237; 07-15-2007 at 04:14 PM. Reason: last paragraph completely unrelated |
