Liquid Egg Whites ? ? ?

I recently ran a marathon and prior to the run there was a convention selling and advertizing all kinds of running crap. However there was one booth for a product that caught my interest. It was protein from liquid egg whites that come in a big canister and you can buy a pump for and keep it in you refrigerator.

They were boasting something about bioavailability saying that its better protein then whey and the body absorbs it better and over a longer peoriod of time. It has the consistancy of milk and is tasteless. They were mixing taste samples up with choc whey powder and and it tasted ok.

Does anyone have any experience or imput on this type of product?

It's not better than whey. It's just different. If I remember correctly, it's absorption rate is somewhere between whey and casein. Because it's pasteurized, salmonella is gone and avidin is negligible. I did read that the liquid is 20-30% more bioavailable than whey powder on other websites also.
