Ingredients:
EVOPRO(TM) Our Custom Evaluation based protein, peptide, and amino acid matrix, designed to closely reflect the nitrogen components and ratios found in human mother's milk (Micellar Alpha and Beta Casiens and Cassienates, Whey concentrates, ect...

Just like the name states, it's predominately casien (milk) protein. It has 32 grams of protein per serving, which is good, but about 60-70% of it is probably casien (slow digesting protein, best utilized throughout day and right before bed.) The fat content I highlighted as being very high for a regular protein product. I wouldn't classify this as a weight gainer because of the very low amount of carbohydrates. In light of this, I think it's wise to use this in between meals in the day. This way you can burn off alot of that fat content while utilizing the casien to keep your body supplied with protein. I would not use this pre/post workout: That territory belongs to whey protein solely. I also wouldn't use it right before bed because of the 18 grams of fat. It looks like a great protein for daytime use....Just my opinion. ;)

"Many coaches and athletes don't believe in the benefits of GPP at all. Who are the worst offenders? Bodybuilders and powerlifters are by far the worst!. They feel that all they have to do is train the main lifts to get strong. This is why so many of them are out of shape." - Dave Tate

Excessive carb intake causes hyperinsulinemia, resulting in FAT GAIN, the weight you dont want. Fat is an energy source that will allow the protein in the milk to repair and BUILD MUSCLE, the weight you do want.....then again if fat-gain weight is what you want,as a future energy-store for a Keto diet, a higher carb intake for several monthes could be acceptable.

The high fat content will allow slower release of blood sugar and insulin produced throughout the day from all carb intake. Because of the fat, the blood sugar and insulin release over the night will be constant and limit/stop Fasting Hypoglycemia which causes insomnia that interupts REM sleep cycles, which inhibits HGH release throughout the night. IMO it wouldnt hurt to drink it before sleep. The only problem I see is if you sleep over 5-6 hours a night. Ater that much sleep you might want to hit the fridge for something to stop the FH if you want to sleep more, OR, like myself, fill a huge mug of milk after you have your first before sleep, put it beside the bed, and when you wake during the night after a few REM cycles, guzzle some of the milk. This will carry you over for a few more hours and your HGH levels will be 'optimal' in the AM for your workout as well.

Yes, weightgainers are classified as having at least 50 grams of carbs and a acceptable amount of fat.
http://www.bulknutrition.com/?cPath=34 See for yourself...
That being said, you have to structure your diet around weightgainer shakes. Of course too much carbs are counterproductive, and 30% of one's diet should come from fat. People, like myself, opt for weightgainer shakes for the carbs. I also don't see why you'd drink the 18 grams of fat right before bed. I understand your explanation, but I'll try and find some references on the web whether that's a bad idea or not. ;)
