Default My diet...

Heh, long time, no see on me I guess.

Well, I started up my diet, and am working on cutting right now till the summer time.

I am going for 20-40 carbs per day. 200 grams of protein. But amount of grams on fat, I am not sure what I should go for atm.

For a while I am not going too heavy on the grams of protein till I have a job. Gonna up to 300 a day then. This won't be till January or Febuary.

I weight about roughly 218 or so. Lost about 20 pounts and gained 5 or so in muscle a few mounths ago.

Meal 1 is roughly about 6 am. I have about 4-9 eggs + hot sauce. 30-50 grams of protein.

Meal 2 is about 11 am. Have some chicken. At least 40 grams of protein.

Meal 3 is about 3 pm. Have 30-50 grams of protein.

meal 4 is 5 pm. 20-50 grams of protein.

Meal 5 is at 6:30 pm or so. Some more protein with veggies.

Then at 9:00 pm, I have 22 grams of protein from my whey powder.

I am working with the Max-OT program atm.

couple things. And don't take this the wrong way.

you need a lot more protein. more like 400 if you are going to only have 40grams of carbs. and you don't have really any fat in your diet. If you are going to restrict carbs that much and have protein that low, go on the ckd diet.

what is your %bf?

How did you lose 20 pounds and gained 5 or so in muscle a few months ago? and why would you start up this diet when it seems like the one you were on is doing fine?

He will have some fat from the eggs atleast 4-9 eggs is about 16-36 grams of fat. Have you actually tried this meal plan yet? your 218 your probably okay with fat if you stay around 50 grams but if your going for 40 carbs a day and 200 grams of protien thats a diet of 1410 calories. For someone that weighs 218 thats quite a drop in calories. 200 grams of protien is less then than 1 gram per lean body weight assuming you dont have 20 lbs of fat on you.

Dave is right about the protien its probably going to have to be up in the range of 350-400.

Whats your goal? How much weight do you plan on dropping. I'm not sure what kind of shape your in did you drop 20lbs due to a cutting diet or did you drop 20lbs because you had to much fat on you? Get a few morethings out to us such as a rough BF% estimate and your goal and we can help more.

ok, I'm lost on this one. I'm assuming you mean drop 30-40 pounds of fat, gain 20 pounds of muscle, and maintain at 8-10 bf%

please clarify

it's not bad but that would depend on the person and how sensitive they are to carbs. I'm doing it right now and it's only the first day or two of the week that are the hardest because you have to adjust to your body shifting into ketosis. and lifting those days suck because of energy levels.

Okay so you have 40lbs of fat pretty much. Your goal to drop down to 10% which will leave you at 20 lbs of fat left. Then your 200 gained lets say another 5 pounds in muscle so you 205. 205 with 20 lbs of fat is pretty good.

You say you lost 20 pounds before this. The diet you showed us is that the diet you stuck to when you dropped the first 20?
