Gender: | Think it make sense to have these here too. http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/ http://www.nutritiondata.com/ And here's a big list that I had saved while I'm at it: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/vitamins.html http://www.cyber-north.com/vitamins/ http://nirc.cas.psu.edu/online.cfm?area=390 http://www.eatwell.gov.uk/healthydiet/nutritionessentials/vitaminsandminerals/ http://www.myvitaminguide.com/public/department17.cfm http://www.healingwithnutrition.com/index.html Some of it's probably better than others. |

(Take a look at the protein in it ) I think user's can edit the values for the database, so who knows what is reliable.Nutrition Facts Recipe Serves 1 people -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Amount per Serving -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Calories 337 Calories from Fat -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- % Daily Value * Total Fat 18g 28% Saturated Fat 9.17g 46% Monounsaturated Fat 0.5g Cholesterol 55mg 18% Sodium 583.33mg 24% Total Carbohydrate 32g 11% Dietary Fiber 0g 0% Sugars 4g Protein 162.67g 325% -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Vitamin A 10.67 Calcium 30 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est. BUT, I like thedietplate for their information on all brand name foods that fitday doesn't have. For example, last night I had a 12oz outback special with veggies on the side. I had no idea what the content was until I saw this thread and checked that site out.. Incidentally, it's 50 grams fat, 90 protein which I'm happy about since there's no carbs lol. Additionally, my chicken info from fitday was really undershot. I use Costco's value pack chicken breasts from Foster Farms.. Those breasts are 50 grams of protein per breast! |

Gender: | Yeah, it was for the brand name stuff I was liking it for. I mentioned it on another thread. Fitday can be a little limited. I got a completely differnt result for grilled cheese sandwhich. Course if you tried to search that at nutritiondata you'd get nada for results. I'm not sure if fitday would give anything either. Last edited by Eric3237; 03-25-2008 at 11:53 AM. |
