I sautee'd some shrimp in olive oil and put some more oil on top after I served them!

I'm with you to Sleazy, I'm dieting down right now and it sucks! Just waiting for a refeed day!

What about some other cultures of food preparation? Does anyone know of recipes that aren't related to Italian? I have been looking on the net and saw some good ones using Salsa.

I usually cook my chicked in olive oil. My chicken scampi soaks up some of the oil and makes it delicious.

Good stuff Jenn, Another thing to experiment with infusing the oil with garlic, roasted peppers, onions.

Try bruchetta - get some plum or roma tomatos (smaller guys), garlic, basil, salt, pepper, and a dash of balsamic vinegar. oh, dont forget the oil. Let everything rest for 1 hour to overnight, its OK to let sit for a few days. Then put on breads, or get mozzarella and have with that.

Cook asparagas in the oil, Much different taste than steaming ( I steam most my veggies)

.................................................. ......................
Or get some olive oil, deep sea salt or epson salt, and lavender oil or vanilla... Not only does this scrub give you a deep clean with diatomaceous earth and dead sea salt, but the super emollient properties of the olive oil lock in moisture while protecting your skin.

Ooops, wrong area... that belongs in the metro area...
