Gender: | I've read that thread that talks about pre and post workout nutrition, and I have to say that I thought that it sounded like a good idea to have a pre workout protein shake. But the only question I have about that is if I'm taking supplements that are supposed to be taken on an empty stomach before I train how can I take a pre workout shake? Should I just take the shake an hour or two before I train or what. Thanks for the advice. |

If you really have enough time before the gym, then I recommend a preworkout MEAL, which'll be better than a shake IMO. I wake up and lift within 40 minutes of each other, so a preworkout shake is paramount for me. However, if I have the opportunity to lift at the end of my day, then about an hour before the gym I'll eat a small meal. It won't really matter what's in it aside from protein/carbs. I like some chicken w/ rice as my preworkout meal. Another option is to buy some BCAA's. I prefer Xtend myself. If your "supplement" beckons you to take them on an empty stomach, then I wouldn't be buying them. Lifting on an empty stomach will put you in a catabolic state when lifting faster than if you ate a preworkout meal/shake. I'm pretty sure you're talking about NO2, which is one of the MANY reasons why I don't recommend them. |

Gender: | No I don't take No2. That supplement is a joke. I take creatine right before I hit the gym. And I also am cycling superdrol. I always take BCAA's before and after the gym. I used to JUST take my creatine, BCAA's, and superdrol. Occasionaly I'd have an orange or something similar. But recently I have realized (from this board) that I need to eat something before the gym. So now I take a meal replacement shake. I have been off of creatine and superdrol for a few weeks and haven't had to deal with taking everything together. Now I bought more creatine and am ready for another superdrol cycle, hence the question. I was always told that creatine and superdrol should be taken on an empty stomach. Is this not true? Thanks for the help on this. You have alot more experience in this then me. ![]() |

In my opinion, I would save your creatine as part of your PCT along with whatever SERM you're using. You should be taking your Superdrol with some fats. I can't remember where I heard that from. Also, taking SD preworkout will give you a killer muscle pump from hell. I recommend taking 3 grams of taurine to help with this, or take the SD later.

Gender: | I agree with everything mentioned above, but IMO since creatine is so damn cheap anyways, why not take during the cycle. It may be redundant when it comes to water weight, but the other benefits that go along with creatine would be a good addition If you a worried about toxicity, then creatine shouldn’t be the issue in this case. |

PCT= Post Cycle Therapy. You're basically fixing all the damage caused by taking a designer steroid. Milk Thistle should be taken DURING and slightly before your cycle because it's function is to protect your liver. What you're NOT doing is addressing your body's test being shut down, or your increase in estrogen levels. A PCT should at minimum include either Nolvadex or Clomid!

Gender: | I include Mild thistle in my daily supps wether I'm on SD or not. I thought that that was all that was needed. I've read all the post's on SD in the supplement section. Maybe I missed the rest of the PCT's. I read about all the bad side effects that some people were expererincing and thought that if I kept the levels at 10mg,instead of raising it 10mg every week, that I might avoid all that. Also thought that if I had one week on and one week off that might help as well. You Me. So now the question, how should I go about taking this and what else should I include in my PCT. |
