| Ok, we've all seen them on tv, in GNC, in the grocery store. There is always a new FAD diet, pushing some ridiculous way of losing fat. And undoubtedly people try it, and fail. Then the so called evidence that it was based on is said to be faulty or whatever. There are some tell tail signs of a bullshitter, and I'll post up a few, but i'd like to hear some feed back on what you guys think. 1. if anywhere in the diet there is a refrence like this ("On this day you can eat as much as you want") or ("There is no limit to the amount of (insert macro nutriet here) you can eat") 2. if you are exspected to purchase suppliments from a specific company ... namely the one promoting the diet. 3. if the diet advocates a day where you "only drink this special beverage" 4. if the diet makes extremely unrealistic claims, dropping 50lbs in 10 weeks ect. |

The person endorsing it could be a giveaway too. Like Sly promoting his cutting supps ,when he's already cut (that's a bit of numero deux as well but you get the idea) | |
