Gender: | LOL, not you! You're entitled to your opinion. I'm speaking of the 'scientific info' that leads people to believe both certain negatives AND positives in regards to soy. As far as specifics on the science I've posted scads, pages actually, of it in other threads. With the jist being that soy shouldn't represent a proportianally huge part of your diet anymore than other plant based foods OR just one protein source. But it is not POISON. But I know I'm not going to convince you since I think your heals are dug in and data is not going to sway you. Not that it matters too much since I'm only saying there is no need for anyone to be in fear of moderate amounts of the stuff. Last edited by Eric3237; 01-26-2007 at 11:55 AM. |

| Its not so much that my heals are dug in, its just that there is a certain stigma around soy ... at least for me. Every body I know that keeps it as a main part of their diet, is very feminine. that and I've tasted soy milk, soy protein shakes ... yuck! Tastes like doo doo if you ask me. But as always this is just my opinion and ramblings, its just not for me. If others like it, i say enjoy that 'Silk' fruity pants. j/k eric ![]() |

Gender: | I get it. It's ok if you want to drink soy milk, but I think it makes you kinda gay. I used to be a vegetarian and as such used a good deal of soy. Being feminine was never something I've been accused of. On the other hand I always thought that the Jenny Craig school of yoyo dieting was of a feminine province, but that's just me. Hmmm, is that a good joke? Prolly not Either you except people or you do not. |
