Should i take omega-3, omega-6, any B vitamins, or anything like that? i've read about people taking that kind of stuff to be healthy, just wondering what all of it does..

I wouldn't worry too much about the Omega 6's. The Omega 3's are great IMO. I would add them to my list of supps if I were you. Fish oil contains EPA & DHA. In your typical fish oil soft gel, there are about 300mgs of the two. I take 6 soft gels a day. It's mother nature's anti inflammatory. Most of the cardio vascular benefits come from the anti inflammatory properties, I believe. It's good for joints, eyes, skin, etc. Inflammation is good after a workout, but too much is bad. I have seen a few discussions about whether it's good to take fish oil or not if you're body building and the overall consensus is YES.

EDIT: You can add some GLA if you want. Although I suspect you probably get enough. Flax is always a good option. It has Omega 3's, 6's, and 9's. But it doesn't have EPA or DHA. The lignans are fantastic though. Some people take one or the other...or both. I just take fish oil.

And yes, you should be taking a multivitamin. It's like an insurance policy in case you miss stuff if in your diet. Because you will. But it's definitely not a replacement for a poor diet.

If you decide to do B vitamins, then do a complex. I don't think they're very necessary. Your multivitamin should already include a small amount of the B vitamins. They metabolize better when they're taken altogether, hence the B-complex.

Let me know if you have any more questions.......
