Default A little late in the the thread, but...

Supporting what ironkitten said earlier... your body does process the alcohol before anything else... and this can benefit you if you're on the KTG or a low carb diet... well it can benefit your wallet anyway. This is because you'll have a much lower tolerance.

I'm on a low carb diet now, and 2 drinks hit me quick, so I'm good at just one or two. When I'm not on the diet, 2 drinks don't do shit, so my tab gets pretty expensive.

Also... has anyone tried Miller 64? It has a little more flavor than Michelob Ultra, and it's only 64 calories. I much rather a full bodied microbrew, but at just 64 calories it's not terrible.

Finally, I was suprised to learn how little Guinness Stout has
1 pint / 16 fl oz; Calories: 196, Total Fat: 0g, Carbs: 18g, Protein: 1.6g per Daily Plate. This stuff is great, and I thought it had way more calories & carbs

Talking Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout!

The first time I tried this stuff... OMG! This is absolutely the most delicious thing ever.

Far and away, it's my favorite! Stout, Beer, Lager, Ale... whatever it's compared to, this stuff is f'n delicious!

A bit pricey... but if you like Stout, I promise it's worth it!

Beer and dark chocolate. The two things health nuts shun and really shouldn't.

I've heard it mentioned....and then discounted. I'm pretty sure it's the extra calories. I'm not saying you're wrong though. Everyone is different and this could be more prevalent with different people.
